My name is Mara

I grew up in Coastal Virginia, where my summers were spent by the ocean and countless afternoons were lost in my favorite thrift stores. After high school, I moved 12 hours away to attend the University of Alabama, beginning my journey as a Strategic Communications major. Two years later, I transitioned to Liberty University to complete my degree online. Through my time in Alabama, the Lord pushed me in many ways and taught me to use the gifts he bestowed upon me.

My time in Tuscaloosa introduced me to some of the most impactful people—individuals brimming with creativity, passion, joy and love. These friendships have shaped me in ways I’ll always cherish. To them, to my hometown friends, my loving family, and my incredible husband—I owe so much. Their unwavering encouragement turned a fleeting aspiration into something tangible, something I now have the privilege of calling my job.
